Access Service User's Guide DirectConnect for AS/400

Most configuration properties have default values. Some properties require that you supply values for your site.

To change property values:

Open the access service library configuration file.
Change access service property values as applicable.
List each property and value under the appropriate subsection. If the subsection is not shown, you must add it.
Save the file.
Stop the server, and then restart it to implement the changes.

You can change certain properties while the server is running, but only if you do so with the DirectConnect Configuration Tool.

We recommend you use DirectConnect Manager to configure the access service library.
