Library Prerequisites

Before application programs can use the dbQueue objects library, you must:

  1. Install and properly configure databases used for storing the catalog and queues.

  2. Install ODBC drivers and properly configured data sources.

  3. Set the following environment variables:

  4. SYBASE - must point to a SYBASE release directory

  5. DBQ - must point to your dbQueue release directory
