| Enterprise Connect |
The Enterprise Connect option provides all the connectivity tools you need to access and move data in a heterogeneous environment. The Enterprise Connect option combines the replication features of the Adaptive Server Enterprise Replication option with the ability to access and replicate to a variety of LAN-based, non-Sybase data sources.
Using the Enterprise Connect option, you can maintain a corporate overview of distributed operations, even when distributed business units run on a variety of hardware and database management system (DBMS) platforms. Enterprise Connect is database-independent middleware; it allows LAN-based clients to see a consistent picture of enterprise data no matter what the data source.
With the Enterprise Connect option, you can:
